flight attendant accused of setting fire in an airplane

Fargo N.D. - An angry flight attendant was accused of setting a fire in a airplane's bathroom. Forcing the plane to have an emergency landing, where the Compass Airlines flight with 72 passengers and four crew members landed safely on May 7, after smoke filled the back. No injuries were reported.

The plane was flying from Minneapolis to Regina, Saskatchewan.

Eder Rojas of Woodbury, Minn., was arrested on Wednesday. Charges of setting fire aboard a civil aircraft carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.

Rojas said that he was upset at the airline for making him work that route. He set the fire in a paper towel inside the airplanes' bathroom.
